the time i decided to look up PA school

checking out PA school taught me a few things:

1. you have to volunteer.  Less than 2,000+ hours? they won't give you a second glance. where will i volunteer-peace corps?
2. you have to take organic chemistry and get an a.- can i do that and be an RA?
3. $75,000+ how?
4. 26+ months of insanity
5. average age of admittance is 27.  what will I do until then?
6. learning so much more about medicine, the human body and God's creativity.

worth it?

time to pray.

  3. Are you wanting to assist in surgery?? That's what a large majority of PA's do. Some do see patients in clinic, however, you get more independance as a Nurse Practioner (in Oregon) with the same amount of school. (Bachelors then Masters) Just food for thought.
